Does anyone know how to get glass rod for beads to adhere to pure copper wire

l am using pure copper wire in sculpture and would like to add some glass

accents to the ends of the 12 guage wire.The problem is that l can not get

the molten glass to take to the hot copper so l can spin and wrap it.The

wire is clean and abraded and l have tried acid etching it also.Any advice

there is a flux that will help facilitate that check with

USE SUPERGLUE, its far easier than meting glass, same result.
